Playstation 30th Anniversary: Latest On How to Buy PS5 Pro

content Headings

Welcome to our analysis of the PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection and PS5 Pro pre-orders. New hardware releases are one of the most fascinating things to cover and witness in the gaming world, and the PS5 Pro preorder release is no exception.

Like every other PlayStation enthusiast, we are ecstatic about the new system. Pre-orders for the PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection are something we are closely monitoring.

We wish you the greatest luck if you want to take advantage of the probable significant demand.

Playstation 30th Anniversary Console Bundles Preorder

The PS5 Pro bundle will likely be very expensive, and only 12,300 units will be available—a nod to the original PlayStation release date.

However, the collection includes more affordable options that won’t be limited in number. Like the Pro bundle, this version features a PS1-themed DualSense controller and the same grey console cover.

Some items can be purchased separately if you’re like me and just want a piece of this collection without buying a whole new console.

Both the DualSense Edge from the Pro bundle and the standard DualSense from the regular PS5 will be sold individually.

While PlayStation hasn’t released official prices yet, the DualSense Edge typically costs $199.99, and special edition DualSense controllers usually go for $79.99, so we can expect similar pricing for these anniversary editions.

The US PS5 Pro preorders should be open now!

Rubicon of 10 am ET has been passed, and theoretically, the pre-orders for the PS5 Pro and PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection should now be available for our American readers!

But, we anticipate that it will take some time for the waiting page to clear up on its own and that the queue may stall for a good several minutes as well. All you have to do is a little wait…

The Queue is Paused!

Unfortunately, whether you were waiting in line or using the PS Direct website, The new notification that appears to be pushing users back to the waiting area says that “the line is delayed” and that PlayStation is “presently facing an abundance of customers.”

It continues by saying “We’re striving to get you back in so you can make your PS5 direct pre-order from PlayStation”.

We have already witnessed this in the UK, but we are unsure of how long Americans will be in a state of uncertainty. It is hoped that everyone may rejoin the line before the start of pre-orders.

The PS5 Pro is currently out of stock in the UK

The PS5 Pro has sold out in the UK, and pre-orders are no longer available. There’s no update on when new stock might arrive, but it’s worth keeping an eye on the PS Direct site in case more becomes available later.

For US shoppers, Hardware Writer Dashiell Wood offers this advice: “It’s disappointing that the PS5 Pro is out of stock in the UK, but I’m surprised it lasted as long as it did. It was available for a few hours this morning, which is promising for its US release.

If you’re in the US and want to buy a PS5 Pro, join the queue now and have your card details ready to go by 7 AM PDT / 1 AM EDT.”

Is a PS5 Pro a better option than a PS5?

Playstation 30th Anniversary: Latest On How to Buy PS5 Pro

With PS5 Pro pre-orders almost here in the US, it’s time to consider whether you need the upgrade. Here’s what Hardware Editor Rhys Wood had to say:

“The PS5 Pro is a high-end option that comes with a steeper price compared to the standard model. Its value depends on how much you care about features like better image quality, AI-driven supersampling, and more storage space.

If you’re eager to experience top-tier PS5 games like Ghost of Tsushima, Horizon Forbidden West, Gran Turismo 7, and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth at their best, the PS5 Pro will definitely be worth it.

The upgrade provides sharper image quality, making these games look crisper. While the core in-game graphics won’t change, the PS5 Pro focuses on enhancing the overall visual experience. Plus, with 2TB of storage, you’ll have more room for storing and playing these massive titles.”

US Preorder Time Revealed

We received our first official confirmation about the pre-order time from the PS Direct queue page. It states that pre-orders for the PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection and PS5 Pro will start at 7 AM PDT (10 AM EDT).

This supports our earlier prediction that the US timing aligns with what happened in the UK earlier today. There’s no need to visit the website right now, as we’ve confirmed that the products aren’t available in the US yet.

However, we recommend keeping the page open in a tab so you’re ready when pre-orders begin at 7 AM PDT / 10 AM EDT.

Queues are open for US!

If the UK purchasing experience today has taught us anything, it’s that early entrants will have the best chance of securing their PlayStation 30th Anniversary goodies, including the PS5 Pro. In the US, queues are currently active, therefore we advise joining as soon as you can.

Although the start time of pre-orders is unknown, we estimate that it will be around 10 AM. This would correspond with the time of commencement that we observed earlier today in the UK. Additionally, we can anticipate that things will sell out very rapidly, so start saving now before it’s gone.

The Latest Updates

Things are slowing down a bit in the UK, making it the perfect time to reflect on today’s events. This morning was chaotic, with the PS5 Pro 30th Anniversary Limited Edition selling out in just minutes.

The limited edition PS5 Slim followed quickly, along with the stylish limited edition DualSense controller. Even the more expensive DualSense Edge sold out within a few hours.

The only products still available are the limited edition PS Portal and the standard PS5 Pro. If you’re interested, act fast because stock may not last much longer. The PS5 Pro is priced at £699.99, and the PlayStation 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Portal is available for £209.99.

Shoppers spent the morning dealing with long queues, which have only recently eased. If you’re in the US and want to secure these items, we highly recommend heading over to the PS Direct site now before demand picks up again.

The queue is now gone in the UK

It looks like customers buying via a mobile device can now access the PS Direct website immediately and bypass the checkout line.

In the previous few minutes, we have tested a variety of Android and iOS devices and have consistently been able to access the website.

Regretfully, there isn’t much stock remaining at the present, but if you haven’t been able to go online yet, this is still something to consider.

Our most recent tests on PC indicate that the backlog has also disappeared, so if you’ve been waiting till things calmed down, now is the perfect moment to act. Once more, hardly much inventory remains, although some items, such as the PlayStation Portal exclusive, can still be purchased.

Current Struggling stock situation

Alright, have a seat, representative. The most important point is that PS Direct is still accepting preorders for the PS5 Pro; as you can see, I was able to finally add one to my cart.

It appears that the PlayStation Gateway is the only item from the 30th Anniversary Collection that is still easily accessible at PS Direct. Although some orange “add to cart” buttons are still available, placing them in carts is giving us varied results. It appears that the PlayStation 30th Anniversary PS5 Pro package was also sold out in a matter of minutes.

With its DualSense listing, Amazon UK was the only other store to experience any activity (because PS Direct had exclusive rights over all other products).

PS5 Pro 30th Anniversary Edition UK price

The internet has verified that the PS5 Pro 30th Anniversary Bundle will cost £959.99 in the UK. Given what you’re receiving, including that 200-wuid DualSense Edge, we don’t believe this is all that horrible.
