Oasis Yet to Finalize Support Acts for 2025 Reunion Tour
Oasis is still deciding which acts will support them on their massive 2025 reunion tour including Oasis North America Tour, but frontman Liam Gallagher is determined to give fans the best show possible.
Despite rumours suggesting that several bands are already set to open for them at shows in London, Cardiff, Dublin, Edinburgh, and Manchester, The Independent reports that Liam and Noel Gallagher have yet to finalise their choices.
Liam is especially eager to bring in some well-known rock bands.
An insider close to the band informed ahead of the Oasis North America Tour, “Liam wants experienced acts, so there will probably be some back and forth before something is finalized.”

The History of Oasis
Oasis, formed in Manchester in 1991, quickly became one of the biggest bands of their time, standing out even among Britpop giants like Blur, Pulp, and Suede. All seven of their studio albums hit number one, and their popularity was undeniable, especially when 125,000 fans showed up to each of their two legendary Knebworth concerts in 1996.
They headlined Glastonbury twice, in 1995 and 2004, and won six Brit Awards along with two Ivor Novello awards. Oasis defined the 90s, known as much for their wild antics—public fights and arrests—as for their hit-filled stadium shows. Liam Gallagher was the brash, fiery frontman, while his brother Noel was the steady songwriter and guitarist.
However, the tension between the two brothers led to the band’s downfall. Their career was marked by constant arguments and even physical fights.
In one famous incident, while recording their second album, Noel reportedly chased Liam with a cricket bat after Liam brought a group of strangers back to the studio. Their rocky relationship ultimately ended the band.
The Skirmish Between Liam & Noel
After launching their solo careers—Liam as a singer-songwriter and Noel with his band, High Flying Birds—the brothers began taking shots at each other on Twitter. Most of the insults came from Liam, who called Noel a “potato” and mocked him for having a woman play the scissors during a performance on Later… With Jools Holland.
Noel, however, felt that Liam had crossed the line more than once. He told reporters that without a sincere apology, they would never mend their relationship. This might explain why Liam, despite expressing his desire for a reunion, had toned down his insults in recent years.
Just weeks before the reunion was announced, Noel softened his stance too, praising Liam’s stage presence. “I don’t have the same energy as him,” Noel admitted. “Liam’s voice is like 10 shots of tequila on a Friday night,” he joked, “while mine is more like half a Guinness.”
